About Joe Meissner

In 1993, Joe Meissner created Executive Capital Partners^® (then called Executive PR^®), the first executive agency representing superstar executives.

Before founding his executive agent practice, Joe founded and managed one of the leading outplacement firms during the 80s and 90s. His San Francisco based firm, Power Marketing, pioneered many new approaches in marketing outplaced executives.

Earlier in his career, Joe Meissner was Assistant Professor and Lecturer of Marketing for Troy State University, The University of Maryland-Europe and Texas Tech University. Prior to academic and consulting careers, he was a professional jazz musician and worked in industrial distribution and real estate management.

Mr. Meissner has been an officer and director of several associations including past President of the San Francisco Chapter and National Board Member of The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) -- an international group of senior executives, investment bankers and private equity firms.
